Specialist Network Analysis

Keep the Specialists You Trust. Verified Office-by-Office, Before You Enroll.

For adults with established specialist relationships, a plan change is not a paperwork exercise. It is a clinical decision. Carrier-published directories are notoriously out of date — frequently listing physicians who no longer accept the plan, no longer accept new patients, or no longer practice. We contact each specialist's office directly to verify current network status before we recommend any plan.

Why Direct Verification Is Non-Negotiable

The cost of a network mistake — discovered after enrollment, in the middle of a treatment cycle — is rarely measured only in dollars. It is measured in continuity of care, in physician relationships built over years, and in the cascade of consequences when those relationships are disrupted.

What We Verify, and How

Specialist Office Status

For each specialist on your care team — rheumatologist, oncologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, pulmonologist, gastroenterologist, neurologist — we contact the office directly and confirm current network participation under each plan on your short list.

Accepting-New-Patients Verification

Network participation is necessary but not sufficient. We confirm that the physician is currently accepting new patients under the plan in question and is not subject to restrictive panel limitations.

Hospital System Alignment

Many specialists are affiliated with specific hospital systems whose network status is the more relevant question. We verify the system, the admitting privileges, and any tiered-network or center-of-excellence implications.

Referral Pathway Mapping

For plans with referral or gatekeeper requirements, we map the pathway from your primary care physician through to each specialist you need to access — and identify any friction the plan introduces.

Out-of-Network Exposure Modeling

When a critical specialist falls outside a plan's network, we model the realistic out-of-pocket exposure of out-of-network care, including reasonable-and-customary disputes and balance-billing risk.
